PFLAG Manhattan Beach / South Bay

About Us

PFLAG is the largest national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender expansive individuals, parents and families. The local PFLAG Manhattan Beach / South Bay chapter was launched in October 2018. Support group meetings are the cornerstone of the PFLAG organization. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender expansive, non-binary and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals, and parents, families and friends of those who identify as LGBTQ+ are invited to attend PFLAG meetings.
All are welcome to express needs, fears, questions and offer support in a compassionate and caring environment. We are the extended family of the LGBTQ+ community in the South Bay. If you or someone you care about is LGBTQ+ we invite you to join us! Our meetings, services and resources are free at all times.

We have two monthly meetings:

General Monthly Support Group Meeting:

WHEN: First Tuesday of every month from 7-9 pm
WHERE: In the Fireside Room at Manhattan Beach Community Church. 303 South Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.

Transgender/Gender Expansive Support Group Meeting
This meeting focuses on issues of particular relevance to the gender expansive, non-binary and transgender community and their families.

WHEN: Third Wednesday of every month from 7-9 pm
WHERE: Online via Zoom; RSVP to rsvp@pflagmanhattanbeach.org
