United Against Hate Week

United against Hate week was created to respond to the rise in hate crimes and bias incidents that pose a dangerous threat to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods . The LA vs Hate initiative was established in September 2019, in conjunction with United Against Hate Week.  LA vs Hate is a community-driven campaign to encourage residents and organizations to unite against and report acts of hate to 211-LA. LA vs. Hate also includes a network of community agencies that provide hate prevention and advocacy. 

This week of action is designed to raise awareness about the dangers of hate and the need for respect and civil discourse among all county residents and students. This week we will focus on actions that community members can take to build stronger connections.
