Ramon Rendon, Harbor Interfaith Beach Cities Coordinator will take us, step-by-step, through the journey of the homeless people as they engage with our outreach team. What lies ahead for the homeless people who come to our town? What are the services we hear so much about? What are the options for dealing with the homeless people living long-term on our streets, who desperately need but refuse services? What solutions do we have when their living conditions are disturbing and a hazard to the community and themselves? What the residents of Manhattan Beach should do when they encounter a person experiencing homelessness?

MBSAFE hosts periodic community forums to connect with the Manhattan Beach community. At each meeting, we answer questions, solicit ideas, provide progress updates, and convene experts to address the pressing issues related to homelessness. These meetings are discussion opportunities and the ideas debated might ultimately turn into concrete solutions. 
 
Our efforts are only as strong as the community that supports them, so we encourage all to attend, whether they're new to the issue or have engaged with it for years.
