January 10, 2015: The Great South Bay Christmas Tree Bonfire

Bring your Christmas trees to Dockweiler State Beach tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. for the annual Great South Bay Christmas Tree Bonfire.

If you don’t have a tree, there will be plenty for sale at $10 each.

Start time is sunset around 5:15 p.m. and will continue until the trees are gone.

There will be two fire pits. One for marshmallows (BYOM) and smores (BYOS) and warmth and one for insane Christmas tree pyrotechnics!

There may be light refreshments available, but please bring your own food and drink if you intend to stay a while.
