About Us

Phyllis Ferrara is a local artist who graduated from the Pasadena Art Center College of Design. After graduating, she studied textile design in Rome, which led her to open her own studio in Los Angeles. Phyllis’s collections were used by beachwear and sportswear companies that included Gotcha, Ocean Pacific Sportswear, and Local Motion. Presently, her style has developed into a combination of plein air, abstract, and textile techniques. Her abstracts have an energetic flow of color and symbols that emerge through layers of paint. Her work is currently showcased via Hollywood Cinema Arts, a television rental program
